For over three decades, Dave Turbide has worked with both the users and developers of software and systems for manufacturers and the supply chain market. He has applied his first-hand knowledge of manufacturing functions, management practices, automated information system and vendor manufacturing software offerings to his articles, white papers, customer stories, published books, speeches, newsletters and blog entries.

He has specialized experience in manufacturing technologies, on-site consulting and end user education and has advised numerous software developers on how to improve their products and position themselves in the competitive supply chain market. He has authored a number of industry analysis reports for major analyst firms and is especially attuned to the needs and challenges of the mid-sized manufacturer. He currently writes the Enterprise Insights column for APICS Magazine and in 1996 Dave and a partner launched Midrange ERP magazine (later renamed Midrange Enterprise) to act as an information and education resource for the small to medium manufacturing community.
